Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival 2021 Photos

The Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival in downtown Coupeville, Whidbey Island, WA, is run by an all-volunteer board and committee chairs. The festival is more than 50 years old, running continuously (with the obvious exception of 2020) since the 1960s. The artisans selling works at the Festival each year submit photos of their work, and for years I have been the social media chair and have snapped cell phone shots of the Festival to use on social media, but we were lacking any higher-quality images to use for the website and promotional material.

In August 2021, I masked up, grabbed my gear, and spent the weekend looping the Festival to get shots that really captured the mood of the Festival. The packed streets, the variety of goods, the smiling faces. I spent 8 hours two days in a row throughout the Festival, capturing each moment I could throughout different times of day.
