My inbox is always open. I will respond as soon as I can to set up a meeting.
Each design starts with a meeting. Face-to-face is the best, to make sure all questions get answered and we’re both on the same page. I can provide you with a quote at this time.
Depending on your company needs, I’m happy to send you a formal proposal about the work I will do. After it’s approval, or if we skip the proposal, I have a standard contract that both of us will sign. It has some wiggle room to meet both of our needs. Once I’ve received the signed contract and the deposit (usually 30% of the design cost), I will begin work!
This is the most crucial communication stage. I will provide you with design options, color palettes, fonts, key images, and more to choose from. The quicker you respond, the quicker the preliminary design will be completed.
During this stage, you can request up to two major revisions within the scope of the cost. Any alterations to the contract and fee schedule will be thoroughly discussed before approval.
The timeline of this stage depends on the project (i.e. if content will be provided, or if I need to create it). Much of this work is also done during the preliminary design stage.
At the completion of this stage, you will pay the next 30% installment.
Every site comes with a picture-heavy guide written just for you, to aid you in updating and maintaining the site. Even if you end up assigning maintenance for someone else, the guide will allow you to have control and independence with your site.
I will also reach out to schedule another sit-down meeting with you, to show you how to use the site and answer any questions you may have.
Once you are happy and confident in your new site, we’ll go live! Until then, everything will happen where only you and I can see it. No disruption of your business during the process!
